Rick Cott is the Chairman and CEO of InvestLinc, charged with leading our company.Prior to InvestLinc, he co-founded and served as President of King Trust Company, a for-profit, limited purpose federal bank that he chartered and built from zero to 1300 portfolios in 44 states. Rick has also served as CFO of the Free Methodist Foundation, where he helped grow the assets of the foundation at an annual average rate of 15-20%. He taught as an adjunct professor in the MBA program at Spring Arbor University, where he offered courses on Operations Management, Ethics, and Planning. Rick spent eight years as an officer and fighter pilot in the United States Air Force. He was awarded Top Gun at A-10 Fighter School, and also served as an instructor and functional control pilot. Rick received an MBA from Webster University in St. Louis, and a BA in Business Administration and Political Science from Hope College in Michigan. He graduated with distinction from Cannon Trust Investment School’s 3-year program for Chief Investment Officers of Federal Banks, in Charlotte, NC. He was also a distinguished graduate of the USAF Leadership School in Montgomery, AL. Rick and his wife have been married for 20 years and have 3 children. Rick enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, golfing and good music. |
