Kurt Wachholz – Chief Compliance Officer

Kurt Wachholz is Chief Compliance Officer, in our Atlanta office.

Kurt has served as Chief Technology and Compliance Officer for Homrich & Berg, Inc., where he scaled operations of a $200 million RIA to $1.6 billion in six years. He has also served as Vice President of Operations for an e-commerce business supporting senior citizens and their caregivers. He served on both the client and analyst side of First Meridian, and has held various sales positions with a regional Texas bank and a national appliance manufacturer. He funded his college education through his work at the Southwestern Company, where he held honors for production, recruiting, and managing in a collegiate sales program.

Kurt earned his bachelors in business administration from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, and is an Investment Adviser Certified Compliance ProfessionalSM (IACCP).

He has served as a member of the National Society of Compliance Professionals, Atlanta CCO Study Group, IT Compliance Institute, and the Open Compliance and Ethics Group. He is past Chapter President of the Association of Life and Health Administrators, past Collegiate Chapter President of the American Marketing Association, and past Collegiate Chapter President of Toastmasters. He was a Rotary Foundation of Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow, and a Rotary International Youth Exchange Participant to Austria.
