Bob Williams is CFO and Managing Director of Business Development, from our Cleveland office. During his career, Bob has arranged and placed over $1 billion in total financing for more than 50 closely-held companies. Over the last 20 years, he has had the opportunity to review more than 3000 companies in need of financial services. His experience encompasses public, private, family-held, and startup companies of all sizes, but he specializes in the financing and governance issues that face small and middle-market companies.Bob was a General Partner with Roulston Ventures Management, LLC, a venture capital investment firm based in Cleveland, where he has managed three funds. Prior to merging his activities with Roulston Ventures, Bob owned and operated Williams Capital Corp, a merchant-banking firm focused on identifying venture capital and private equity investment opportunities in closely-held businesses. Bob served as Managing Director of Mergers and Acquisitions and Capital Sourcing Services for Coopers and Lybrand, after their acquisition of Williams and Associates, his corporate finance consulting practice. Prior to founding his own practice, Bob served as vice president and investment officer for Society Venture Capital Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Key Corporation.
Bob earned his bachelors in business administration and economics from Furman University and his MBA in finance from Case Western University.
He serves as Councilman for the Village of Chagrin Falls, Chairman of St. Joan of Arc Church Parish Council and Finance Council, and Trustee and Finance Council Chairman at Cleveland Central Catholic High School.
